West Virginia Vs. Maryland Update: Things Get Interesting After 21 Straight Maryland Points
West Virginia held a 34-10 lead early in the fourth quarter. Since then, the Terps have scored on a Davin Meggett 20-yard touchdown run, a D.J. Adams six-yard run and another D.J. Adams scoring run for two yards out. Suddenly, West Virginia was facing a three-point lead late and on the road.
Since then, the Mountaineers have connected on a field goal to give themselves a 37-31 lead, but there’s still enough time left for Maryland to cause a few more coronaries in Morgantown. And maybe a celebration in College Park, to boot.
