Justin Hunter Injury: Tennessee Loses Star WR Against Florida

The key to Tennessee's success this season is likely to be the passing game, and particularly the connecting between Tyler Bray and his solid wide receiving corps. And one of the key members of that corps is Justin Hunter -- which is why it had to be sickening for Tennessee fans to see Hunter land and immediately crumple on an early play in a crucial game against Florida.

Hunter appeared to hurt his left knee. And he was later seen walking gingerly toward the locker room, though it’s obviously not yet clear how badly he’s hurt.

Last year, Hunter had 16 catches for 415 yards and seven touchdowns. He was on pace to breeze past those marks this year, having already caught 17 balls this year for 314 yards and two touchdowns so far this season. How soon he returns will decide whether he can pass them anyway.
