Coby Fleener, Chris Owusu, Shayne Skov All Leave With Injuries For Stanford

The Pac-12 opener hasn't been kind to the Stanford Cardinal, despite a 13-3 lead on the scoreboard. In the first half alone, the Cardinal have lost three key players to injury, the latest of which might be the biggest blow. Linebacker Shayne Skov hobbled off the field, unable to put weight on his left leg after an awkward collision during a tackle.

Skov joins Coby Fleener, who appeared to suffer a concussion early in the game. Chris Owusu, a big target in the passing game for Andrew Luck, is also on the sidelines after banging his shoulder in the first half. No word on the severity of either injury, but Owusu and Fleener have yet to return.

Skov’s injury may be much worse. He was in obvious pain as he was taken to the sideline, and teammates gathered around him as trainers attended to him on a table, holding up towels to shield him. At the moment, it doesn’t look good for him.
