Terrelle Pryor’s Favorite Photographer Banned From Michigan’s Sidelines

Dennis Talbott, who used an Ohio State press pass to get cozy with Buckeye football players -- and who allegedly provided improper benefits to former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor -- hasn’t given up his career as a freelance photographer.

Banned from OSU, he headed north to Ann Arbor, obtaining a credential to shoot Michigan’s first game of the season against Western Michigan. How did Talbott’s past slip under UM’s radar? Because Talbott used “Jay” instead of “Dennis” while applying for a credential.

Sports By Brooks made the connection, though, after seeing one of Talbott's photographs of Denard Robinson appear on SI.com. Upon learning the news, Michigan promptly banned Talbott from future games:

“I actually spoke to him and told him he would no longer be credentialed,” Dave Ablauf, Michigan senior associate athletic director for media and public relations, told ESPN.com. “He came in under a different name than what we were familiar with. Had the name I knew popped up, I wouldn’t have credentialed him.”

A man, a camera and a dream. And an NCAA investigation. Poor Dennis/Jay.
