Florida was able to stop Ohio State after the Gators' first turnover of the day. The second led to Ohio State's first touchdown of the 2012 Gator Bowl, on a short touchdown pass from Braxton Miller to DeVier Posey.

Miller led the Buckeyes down the field after a muffed exchange at the snap gave Ohio State the ball, which itself came after an Ohio State fumble set Florida up in Buckeyes territory. Dan Herron is running hard for the Buckeyes, and has 40 yards on the ground so far.
Miller got the Buckeyes over midfield by hanging in on a screen pass to find Jeff Heuerman on a 25-yard catch-and-run.
