Case Keenum had the kind of first half you only see on videogames: 29-of-45 passing for 381 yards and three touchdowns. A big part of that was his 75-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Edwards early in the second quarter.

On the play, Keenum stepped up in the pocket nicely to avoid the pressure and then found Edwards all alone about 45 yards down field. Edwards caught the pass in stride and could have almost walked into the endzone from there.
In case you’re wondering, the Keenum was able to attempt 46 passes in no small part because the Cougars essentially ignored the running game. Houston called just four running plays in the half.
