Michigan State's only lead of the game lasted for just one drive, as Georgia is now ahead 27-20 after scoring its first touchdown of the second half on pass from Aaron Murray to senior Brandon Boykin, who has now scored on a punt return, touchdown catch and created a safety in the 2012 Outback Bowl:

It only took the Bulldogs 1:38 and five plays to go 81 yards, as Murray found Tavarres King for King's third major reception of the day, this time a 53-yard grab to set up UGA in the Sparty red zone. Malcom Mitchell caught a Murray pass on a two point conversion to give UGA a seven-point lead. The drive was Georgia's strongest of the second half, after two interceptions, two punts and a field goal in five drives that were all 31 yards or less. Michigan State has 16 tackles for a loss on the day.
