The Oregon Ducks have done well to issue a response to the Wisconsin Badgers, who scored a touchdown on a great series of scripted plays to start the 2012 Rose Bowl. Oregon ripped off a great drive of their own, capped off by a LaMichael James touchdown run to tie up the score at 7-7 with 9"41 remaining in the first quarter.
Rose Bowl 2012 Score Update: LaMichael James Ties It Up At 7-7
Darren Thomas started the drive with a couple of keepers, but things really got started on third down and three, when James ripped off a 23-yard run for a first down that got the Ducks into Badgers territory. Three plays later, Thomas hit Lavasier Tuinei for a 35-yard pass that got the team down to the one-yard line, where James was able to punch in for an easy score.
