The Wisconsin Badgers found themselves in an insta-shootout in the first quarter of the 2012 Rose Bowl, sacrificing an 80-yard scoring drive after opening the game with a touchdown of their own. Giving the rock to Montee Ball seemed like a good idea in response, and it was!
Wisconsin Vs. Oregon Score Update: Montee Ball Sets Up Second Touchdown
A 42-yard run featuring a gruesome stiff arm (see below!) was followed by a 30-yard reception from Russell Wilson, and we've got ourselves quite a Ball game already.
With the ball at the five, Wilson was able to take a bootleg into a wide, wide field of green (how wide? See below!), trotting in for the touchdown to make it 14-7, Wisconsin. That's the second seven-play scoring drive of the day for UW so far. We're on to something here, folks.
