Well, maybe this game has defense after all! The Wisconsin Badgers are on the board through a defensive touchdown, and have re-taken the lead over the Oregon Ducks in the 2012 Rose Bowl. On a third down play in their own half of the field, Ducks QB Darron Thomas was stripped by Mike Taylor and fumbled the ball. Louis Nzegwu picked it up and ran 33 yards for the score, putting UW up 28-21.

The play was reviewed, as Thomas was attempting a pass as he was hit by Taylor. It was close, but there wasn’t indisputable evidence that Thomas’ arm was going forward at the time he lost possession, and the play stood as called on the field. The Ducks will get the ball back with 3”26 left in the second quarter.
Earlier in the drive, Oregon WR Josh Huff took a nasty hit and appeared to be wobbling as he was helped off the field by a trainer.
