Rose Bowl 2012 Update: Russell Wilson Throws Interception Late In Third Quarter

Russell Wilson has had an absolutely brilliant day for the Wisconsin Badgers, but he's given the Oregon Ducks a route back to the lead in the 2012 Rose Bowl. After nearly three quarters of mistake-free football, Wilson threw a bad interception in his own territory at the end of the third quarter, gifting the Oregon Ducks some fantastic field position and an opportunity to erase the Badgers' three-point advantage.

Kiko Alonso was the man who made the play for the Ducks defense, undercutting Wilson's intended target to make a fantastic play. Wilson apparently didn't see him, and threw the ball in a place where Alonso could easily make a play. The Badgers lead 38-35 at the end of the third quarter, but the Ducks are in Badgers territory with the ball.
