ANIMATED: Wisconsin’s Jared Abbrederis Fumbles Ball Away To Oregon

The Wisconsin Badgers got the football back from the Oregon Ducks after the Ducks added a field goal and pushed their lead to 45-38. The Badgers started off the drive with a run, followed by two quick passes from Russell Wilson to Nick Toon. On third down, Toon stretched out just enough to get the first down.

On the next play however, Russell Wilson hit Jared Abbrederis down the field and as the receiver turned upfield to pick up some more yardage he fumbled away the football.

The play was reviewed and upheld, and as you can see the ball clearly pops out of Abbrederis’ hands and somehow stays in bounds for Oregon to recover. The Ducks can put the game away now by killing clock or with another score.
