Aaand another one's gone from Happy Valley. Former Penn St. Nittany Lions commit Skyler Mornhinweg, a three-star, dual-threat quarterback out of Philadelphia, has switched his commitment to the Florida Gators not long after taking a visit, ESPN's Derek Tyson reported Friday. The QB is the son of Marty Mornhinweg, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator.

Four other BCS programs had reportedly made offers to the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder. Virginia Tech was also showing interest and may have made an offer as well.

If accurate, then PSU is now down to 18 players in its class, including only one quarterback, three-star Steven Bench, while Florida, which already had Rivals' No. 4 class in the nation, picks up its 21st commit. Previous offensive coordinator Charlie Weis had wanted to skip picking up a quarterback this time around, but new OC Brent Pease made it a clear and immediate priority to add depth behind Jeff Driskel and company.

Apparently every school associated with Urban Meyer is going to start picking off talent from the Nittany Lions. Eyes peeled for Utah and Bowling Green, PSU.
