VIDEO: Denard Robinson Touchdown Pass Puts Michigan Up 7-6

The Michigan Wolverines continued to trail the Virginia Tech Hokes 6-0 in the 2012 Sugar Bowl. After getting the ball back after stopping the Hokies on a 4th-and-1 in the redzone, the Michigan offense finally broke a big play when Denard Robinson kept the ball on a read option play, picking up 16 yards. The Wolverines find themselves failing to pick up a third and long, but thanks to a personal foul for roughing the punter, Michigan got new life.

Michigan continued to struggle picking up yards on the ground, but then Denard Robinson picked up a third down in the air to continue the drive. A few plays later, Michigan once again on third and long, Michigan dropped back to pass, eluded a tackler and just chucked the ball in the air hit wide receiver Junior Hemingway for a 45-yard touchdown pass.
