Wednesday, news broke that Maryland Terrapins quarterback Danny O'Brien has become the next to inform Randy Edsall he'll transfer out of College Park. Moments later -- while Big Ten and SEC fans were already figuring out how to call dibs -- a message appeared via O'Brien's Twitter account, denying the whole thing:
Danny O’Brien Apparently Denies Maryland Transfer Report

@DannyOBrien5 Contrary to rumor, I am still a Terp.
He really would've been an interesting fit with the Vanderbilt Commodores, too, where he'd be reunited with James Franklin. Still, if he's sticking around, that would answer the question of why in the world he hosted recruit Stefon Diggs on a visit just a few days ago.
Though Maryland’s quarterback depth chart -- and entire depth chart -- remains in flux, Maryland fans appear quite relieved to see they’re apparently not losing the 2010 ACC Rookie of the Year after all. Pretty weird hour there.
