By now, we've all learned not to be surprised that one can gamble on absolutely anything having anything to do with sports. Charlie Strong’s odds are mighty attractive, as he’s certainly a more likely hire than Butch Davis. If he thinks his Cards don’t get enough media attention, he might really like the SEC West’s more involved climate. Butch Davis isn’t happening, nor is Jimmy Johnson. Mario Cristobal, Kirby Smart or Gary Patterson could all be tremendous hires, but they’ve all turned down offers before.
As for those Petrino odds, let’s hit NFL hard here, yes?
