Aaron Green Transferring From Nebraska, Oklahoma Among 5 Candidates
Nebraska running back Aaron Green is transferring from the program and could potentially be going back to the Big 12 to the Oklahoma Sooners.

“It was a very difficult decision for him,” Aaron Green’s father, Tony, told HuskerOnline.com. “He’s very tight with his brother (Andrew Green), which made this even more difficult. It’s also been difficult on me and his mother. We really wanted him to stay, but in the end he had to make his own decision. It’s not mine to make. He’s got to be happy. It just wasn’t meant to be for him, and he’s got to make his own decision.”
Tony Green indicated that Aaron Green's choice for his new school hasn't been set in stone yet, but he is considering Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU and Houston as potential transfer destinations.
Green was the backup to All-Big Ten running back Rex Burkhead for the 2011 season and had just 25 touches for 130 yards and three touchdowns.
