For several days now, rumors of running back Herschel Sims being dismissed from the Oklahoma St. Cowboys have been acting as rumors. Then on Wednesday, our own Cowboys Ride For Free reported that Sims has been dismissed, though there's still no official word from the school.

Pieces of a highly possible story are starting to fall into place after linebacker Jeremiah Tshimanga claimed he was the victim of fraud, with the suspect listed as a black male standing 5’10 and weighing 190 pounds. That more or less matches Sims’ physique, and there’s another key identifier in the police report:

As a freshman, Sims produced 242 rushing yards, putting him third on the team behind a pair of sophomores and in line for a very big role in the future. He was rated a four-star recruit by Rivals and ranked as the second best all-purpose back in the country.
