The Holiday Bowl was already sliding down the Big 12 and Pac-12 bowl game ranks, but with the coming playoff and potential seven-wins requirement threatening to kill off perhaps a third of college football’s current exhibitions, the game’s got work to do if it wants to make its way back to the upper half of bowl season.

↵↵“We’re going to be aggressive,” Holiday Bowl Executive Director Bruce Binkowski told U-T San Diego Friday. “I don’t know what that means, but we’re going to be aggressive.”
