Dee Liner, 2013 Auburn Commit, Arrested For 2nd Time In 10 Days

The top defensive tackle in the 2013 recruiting class is headed to Auburn. But after being arrested twice in 10 days for minor offenses, should Tiger fans be worried about Dee Liner?

One five-star Auburn Tigers commit is already raising red flags.

Dee Liner, a defensive tackle (go figure!) from Muscle Shoals, Ala., was arrested for the second time in 10 days early Wednesday morning after he was charged with criminal trespassing as a result of jumping a fence at a public pool with some of his buddies.

A minor, childish offense, yes, but when you consider that Liner was also arrested on July 1 for cursing out a police officer who pulled over his mother, you might begin to wonder about the makeup of this recruit.

Liner is scheduled to appear in court to face charges of disorderly conduct stemming from the July 1 incident on Aug. 23. There’s no word yet on a court appearance for the trespassing charges.

Despite being the consensus No. 1 defensive tackle recruit in the class of 2013, you’d have to think that Tiger fans are growing increasingly concerned with the baggage this talented football player could be bringing to campus next fall.
