UTSA Vs. South Alabama Game Time, TV Schedule And More
The University of Texas-San Antonio will take on South Alabama on Thursday night in a matchup of two teams new to FBS football.

UTSA was offered to join the WAC two years ago, and it will be in the league in its final season as a football conference; Larry Coker will be in his second year of coaching the team. After the WAC folds this season, it will join Conference USA for the 2013-14 season. South Alabama is in the FBS this season, but it won’t play a full Sun Belt schedule this season and won’t be conference title or postseason eligible. It doesn’t become a full Sun Belt memberuntil next season.
Neither of these teams are expected to do too much this season in their respective conferences. UTSA has to improve their offense and South Alabama has to do the same.
Game time, TV channel: 2 p.m. ET Saturday, online stream on ESPN3.
Point spread: South Alabama favored by 6 to 6.5 points.
