Colorado begins it’s second year in the Pac-12 with a deep team that has only five seniors listed as starters on its initial depth chart and at least three freshmen starting. The Buffaloes have 10 starters returning, six of them on the defensive side of the ball. Redshirt junior quarterback Jordan Webb, who transfered after three years Kansas, will lead the Colorado offense.
Colorado St. has a new coach as it enters the 2012 season. Jim McElwain, coming from his post as the Offensive Coordinator at Alabama, takes over a program that has gone 3-9 in the past two seasons. Preseason media predictions have the Rams finishing eighth in the Mountain West Conference.

Point spread: Colorado is a 6.5 point favorite, with the game’s over/under being set at 46.
