Maryland trailed the entire game until mounting a 10-play, 69-yard drive in the fourth quarter that culminated in the game's only touchdown, a 6-yard run from Terrapins running back Justus Pickett.
Box Score Hero: It has to be Pickett who, in addition to scoring the game’s only touchdown, added 45 yards on 11 carries for Maryland.
Rankings Ramifications: Neither team came into this game ranked, and this performance by both squads won’t help them crack the polls in their respective subdivisions.
But Did They Cover? For much of the week, there was no line for this game due to the Maryland injury situation, but by kickoff the Terps were 15-point favorites.
