Days after the loss to UCLA, Huskers defensive tackle Chase Rome left the team and receiver Tyler Wullenwaber suffered a season-ending ACL injury in practice. This is not the way Nebraska intended to start the season. Rome's departure stems from a disagreement over his role. He was unhappy with how much action he saw against UCLA, a game in which the defensive line gave up 653 yards of offense.
