Tennessee Tech Vs. Oregon Final Score: Ducks Roll, 63-14

The Oregon Ducks easily defeated the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 63-14, on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

The Golden Eagles jumped on top early when they scored on a touchdown strike from Tre Lamb to former Tennessee wide receive Da'Rick Rogers, but it was all Ducks from there.

Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota was efficient, completing 21-of-28 for 307 yards and four touchdowns. Backup Bryan Bennett came into to replace Mariota after one drive in the third quarter. He finished just 2-of-5 with an interception, but was able to rush for two touchdowns.

Backup running back Byron Marshall ran 13 times for 126 yards and a touchdown in mop-up duty for the Ducks.

The win moves Oregon to 3-0 on the season, with Tennessee Tech falling to 2-1.

Box Score Hero: Oregon’s De’Anthony Thomas had 222 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns, without playing most of the second half.

Rankings Ramifications: The Ducks are currently ranked No. 4 in both major polls, and likely won’t move up unless someone loses in front of them.

But Did They Cover? Despite the blowout victory, no. Oregon was favored by 53 ½.
