In the first quarter of No. 15 Kansas State's game against North Texas, the Wildcats appear to have lost a very key contributor as Arthur Brown injured his ankle early in the game.

Bad news for K-State. Arthur Brown threw a ballcarrier to the ground. Struggled getting up. Fell back down. Trainers looking at right ankle.

After throwing a ball carrier to the ground, the 2011 first-team All-Big 12 linebacker struggled to get back to his feet and eventually went back to the ground. Trainers were seen looking at Brown’s right ankle, which appeared to bend in an awkward direction as he made the tackle.
Brown, named a preseason All-American and preseason first-team All-Big 12 member, racked up 15 tackles in the first two games of the season for the Wildcats, including a sack against the Miami Hurricanes. He also recorded two passes defended in the team's season opener against Missouri State.
