Arizona Vs. South Carolina State Final Score: Wildcats Run Over Bulldogs, 56-0

Who is Matt Scott and where did he come from? The University of Arizona quarterback is a double threat and no one seems to notice. Tonight, Scott lead the Wildcats to a dominating 56-0 victory over the Bulldogs of South Carolina State.

In the first game of their season, Arizona barely beat Toledo in overtime. One can only assume they never want to be in that situation again and decided to run up the score as high as possible. In the past two games for the Wildcats, they’ve score a combined 115 points to their opponents 38.

The desert air is suiting Rich Rodriguez just fine, thank you. He's lead the Wildcats to a 3-0 start in his first year as head coach. The embattled Rich-Rod has boosted the confidence of his players on the back of two blowout wins. Arizona hopes that momentum carries with them as they head to up to Oregon.

Box Score Hero: In the three quarters he played, Scott went 30-for-36 for 310 yards and three touchdowns AND rushed for 61 yards on nine carries for one touchdown.

Rankings Ramifications: While the score may show that Arizona is not to be trifled with, they aren’t exactly facing a top-ranked team in SC State. The No. 24 Wildcats will likely stay in that general area of the rankings.

But Did They Cover? Even with a spot of 35.5 points, South Carolina State couldn’t touch Arizona.
