Notre Dame Fighting Irish fifth-year senior DE Kapron Lewis-Moore will start in Saturday's game against the Michigan Wolverines according to coach Brian Kelly. Lewis-Moore suffered a calf strain during Notre Dame's 20-17 victory over Purdue on Sept. 8 and saw limited playing time last week in the Irish win over Michigan State.
Michigan Vs. Notre Dame: Kapron Lewis-Moore Starting, Along With New Safety
Notre Dame DE Kapron Lewis-Moore will start Saturday’s game against the Michigan Wolverines after being limited last week with a calf strain

More #NotreDame HC Brian Kelly on Kapron Lewis-Moore (calf strain): "He'll answer the bell and he'll be starting on Saturday."

Lewis-Moore should only help strengthen a defensive line that had an excellent game against the Spartans. Lewis-Moore missed the last five regular season games and Notre Dame’s bowl game last season with an injured knee.
The Irish have Lewis-Moore back in the lineup, but with another defensive leader, fifth-year senior S Jamoris Slaughter, out for the rest of the season with an Achilles injury the team will try to replace him by committee at safety.
#NotreDame HC Brian Kelly says you'll see Chris Salvi, Nicky Baratti and C.J. Prosise all play safety moving forward.

Kelly also said that WR DaVaris Daniels (ankle) and DL Sheldon Day (bone bruise) are both probable for the Michigan game. The 11th-ranked Irish will welcome the No. 18 Wolverines to South Bend for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.
