Florida Football Adding Tyler Moore, Former Nebraska Starter

Moore, a native of Clearwater, was a three-star recruit coming out of high school. In 2011, he became only the 10th true freshman to start on the Cornhuskers offensive line in program history.

He returned to Florida for personal reasons to spend a year at Clearwater College, where he re-opened his recruitment and was pursued heavily by Florida, Florida State and Nebraska.

According to his father, the energy of Will Muschamp and his staff was the deciding factor:

“I’ve never seen a staff work as hard as their staff,” Brian Moore said. “From Muschamp, to the strength coach (Jeff) Dillman, to the director of player personnel Jon Haskins, there was just a different energy at Florida.”

The 6’6 305 Moore, who is redshirting this season, will be eligible to play as a sophomore next season for the Gators.
