The Missouri Tigers face their second SEC test on Saturday, as Missouri travels to South Carolina to take on Steve Spurrier and the No. 7 South Carolina Gamecocks.

South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw injured his throwing shoulder in the Gamecocks' win over UAB, but will make his return against Mizzou. Dylan Thompson replaced Shaw, and completed 5-of-10 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Likewise, James Franklin is expected to return after a week off for Missouri.

Missouri officially began SEC play in 2012, and the Tigers dropped their first-ever SEC game on Sept. 8, losing 41-20 to Georgia. The Tigers will have an even more difficult task in their second SEC game, having to go on the road to South Carolina. It will be Missouri’s first road game in 2012, as well as the school’s first road game in the SEC.

The Tigers did rebound from their Week 2 loss to Georgia, defeating Arizona State, 24-20, in Week 3.

After narrowly escaping defeat in Week 1 against Vanderbilt, South Carolina has steamrolled opponents in Week 2 and 3, defeating East Carolina, 48-10, and UAB, 49-6.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Point spread: South Carolina favored by 10 points
