Penn State takes on Temple in a Big Ten-Big East showdown at Beaver Stadium.

Last season, the Nittany Lions were able to keep the Temple running game in check, as the Owls ran for just 74 yards in a 14-10 loss. This season, Temple is led by a duo of running backs in senior Matt Brown and junior Chris Coyer. Both were especially key in the Owls' season-opening victory over Villanova.
Penn State comes into the all-Pennsylvania showdown fresh from their first victory of the season, as the Nittany Lions topped the Navy Midshipmen in Week 3, 34-7. Quarterback Matt McGloin threw for four touchdowns against the Midshipmen and has thrown for eight touchdowns against just one interception thus far in 2012.
Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2
Point spread: Penn State is favored over Temple by eight points after opening as a nine-point favorite.
