Mississippi State made quick work of the Jacksonville Tigers with an easy 56-9 victory, dominating the game once they made it out of the tunnel, but things won’t be quite as easy when the next set of Tigers come to town.

Auburn lost its opener 26-19 to Clemson in the Georgia Dome letting up 528 yards, including 320 on the ground, but Mississippi State doesn’t bring quite the same firepower as Clemson.
Auburn leads the overall series 60-23-2, but the last two meetings have been down to the wire with the Tigers winning 41-34 in 2011 and 17-14 in their 2010 championship season. The loser of this game will be looking up at the rest of the SEC West and likely will be in for a long, tough season.
