Back home after opening the season in Dublin, Ireland last weekend, Brian Kelly's Notre Dame Fighting Irish will look to make it two in a row this Saturday afternoon against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The Irish trounced Navy by 40 points behind 490 total yards of offense to open their campaign on a high note, but will face a vastly different test in Purdue's spread passing attack anchored by quarterback Robert Marve. Originally rated the 8th best quarterback way back in the 2007 recruiting class by Rivals.com before bouncing around from Miami to Purdue, the 6'1 Marve looks to be finally healthy and poised for a career year.

Named Kelly's Week 1 starter before the team left for for Dublin, sophomore quarterback Everett Golson performed admirably in his first collegiate game under center. While the dual-threat quarterback elected to hand the ball off during most of Notre Dame's option calls, Golson's 12-of-18 performance with his arm was more than enough to inspire confidence in the youngster going forward.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, NBC

Spread: Notre Dame - 14.5
