Bryn Renner Injury: Concussion Likely For UNC QB

North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner took a vicious hit in the Tar Heels' matchup with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem.

Renner was having a stellar game, already completing 10 of 14 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown before the big hit. He is coming off a solid performance in the season opener against Elon, in which he completed 14 of 21 passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns.

Renner’s 2011 campaign saw him complete 68.8% of his passes while throwing for 2,769 yards and 23 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. He finished 10th in the country in quarterback rating.
