Tre Roberson Injury: Indiana QB Leaves Field In Ambulance

Indiana Hoosiers starting quarterback Tre Roberson went down with an ankle-area left leg injury in the first half of their game against Massachusetts. The injury occurred when Roberson was running the ball on 3rd-and-goal, but the injury occurred when he was tackled at the 2-yard line by Charles Thompson and Hafis Williams.

The injury was so severe that Roberson had to be taked off the field in the ambulance. Before the injury Roberson was having a big game by completing 6-of-11 passes for for 98 yards, tossed a pair of touchdowns and also rushed for 105 before leaving the game.

Roberson was replaced by Cameron Coffman who is performing well as his replacement, and has completed 8-of-11 passes for 92 yards. The game is at the half and Indiana is leading 38-6 over Massachusetts.
