2013 NFL Draft wide receiver rankings

William Mancebo

Perhaps no position this season saw as much fluctuation at the top as wide receiver. As much talent as this class should have, there are as many questions. Tennessee’s Justin Hunter came into the season as the top receiver, but had some issues with drops and has been surpassed by electric teammate Cordarrelle Patterson.
Clemson’s DeAndre Hopkins stepped out of the shadow cast by Sammy Watkins and has the look of being a good NFL pass catcher. The opposite happened to Southern Cal’s Robert Woods. He was surpassed by teammate Marqise Lee, who unfortunately isn’t draft eligible yet.
There is some real intrigue with this class as well. Da’Rick Rogers has the potential to be a No. 1 wide receiver, but was banished to lower-level Tennessee Tech this season. Aaron Mellette put up big numbers throughout his career, but it was at Elon. Marshall’s Aaron Dobson also has impressive tools, but was injured much of the season.
