Current 2013 NFL Draft order

After Monday night’s “football game” between the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans, you can’t help but think about the NFL Draft.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

That travesty of a win Monday dropped Tennessee to the ninth pick. The Jets, now out of playoff contention, are currently slotted to have the 14th pick. Could that be the proper range for the Jets to seek a successor for Mark Sanchez? Surely New York won’t take a chance on Matt Barkley, Sanchez’s replacement at Southern California. North Carolina State’s Mike Glennon has been a buzzworthy quarterback, and the 14th pick may be about his draft ceiling.

Unless they happen to win out, the top pick is still down to the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chiefs finish the season against Indianapolis and at Denver. The Jaguars have games against New England and at Tennessee. By the looks of Tennessee on Monday, Jacksonville could pull out a win in the final week of the season.
