Beef O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg: Ball State vs. UCF, Friday Dec. 21, 7:30 p.m. EST, ESPN
Beef O’ Brady’s St. Petersburg Bowl 2013 NFL Draft watch notes

The Beef O’ Brady’s St. Petersburg Bowl figures to be one of the least anticipated games of bowl season for the purposes of evaluating the NFL Draft. Come April, it would come as no surprise if not a single player from either of these teams is drafted.
Still, Ball State enters the game with a 9-3 record, while UCF is 9-4. As far as the smaller conferences go, this game isn’t too shabby. We get a classic MAC vs. Conference USA showdown.
When UCF has the football
Guard Theo Goins is probably the Knights' best prospect. Even so, he projects as a late rounder at the absolute best. The next few months will be crucial in determining whether or not Goins will be drafted. Another late-round prospect will lineup across from Goins. Ball State linebacker Travis Freeman also hopes to land in the later rounds of the draft. Cornerback Jason Pinkston is also one to watch. His size will catch the eyes of scouts.
When Ball State has the football
The Cardinals have a bit more NFL talent on the roster. Junior quarterback Keith Wenning has a chance to pick up some momentum heading into his senior season. Meanwhile, tackle Cameron Lowry looks like an undrafted free agent at this point.
