Little Caesar’s Bowl 2013 NFL Draft watch notes

Western Kentucky vs. Central Michigan
After a day off from bowl games, the schedule picks back up with the Little Caesar’s Bowl between Western Kentucky and Central Michigan.
This game would have featured a premier NFL Draft matchup between Western Kentucky defensive end Quanterus Smith and Central Michigan left tackle Eric Fisher. Unfortunately, Smith suffered a season-ending knee injury earlier this season.
A few prospects still jump off the page and will be worth tracking in this game.
When Western Kentucky has the football
Western Kentucky isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut, but tight end Jack Doyle is certainly worth watching for the purposes of the NFL draft. He has 47 catches for 530 yards and four touchdowns so far this season. Central Michigan senior safety Jahleel Addae will be the one covering him.
When Central Michigan has the football
Eric Fisher is the obvious player to watch in this game. He has a chance to be selected in the first round in April after a strong senior season. He has shown excellent technique and athleticism this season, steadily improving his draft stock.
Matchup of the night: Jack Doyle vs. Jahleel Addae
A couple of late round prospects will be battling to get drafted. This game should be an interesting test of Addae’s cover skills.
