The little brother of an NFL MVP, Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers took some steps at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl practices to establish himself and step out of the lofty shadow of his brother, Aaron Rodgers. Early in the week of practices, Rodgers drew the praises of Todd McShay of ESPN and during Saturday night's game, Bill Polian said that he was clearly one of the two top quarterbacks.

On Saturday, Rodgers completed 8 of 11 passes for 87 yards, although he played on a team that lost 34-0.

However, things didn’t come very easily for Rodgers during the game as his team was blown out, 34-0, and he was consistently pressured by the National team defense. Despite the pressure and rough game, though, Rodgers completed 8 of 11 passes for 87 yards and didn’t turn the ball over.
Smaller than his brother and with less of an arm, Rodgers is not considered by any to be a candidate to go in the first two days of the draft; however, the Vanderbilt quarterback may have shown enough for NFL scouts to move up into a draftable range with his performance.
