Certainly one of the better prospects at the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, Virginia Tech linebacker Bruce Taylor didn't disappoint come game time, as he recorded an interception off of Southern Utah's Brad Sorensen early in the second half and returned it to the six-yard line to set up what became a field goal for the National team.
NFLPA Collegiate Bowl 2013: Bruce Taylor
In his senior season, Taylor accumulated 5.5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for a loss and 76 tackles.

That came at the end of a good week of practice for Taylor in which he was called the “most instinctive” of the linebackers in attendance at the second annual all-star game by Mark Dulgerian of Optimum Scouting.
In 2012, Taylor recorded 76 total tackles for the Hokies, adding 10.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks. His 2011 season was cut short after he suffered a foot injury that required surgery to repair. While he’s a little undersized for a linebacker at 6’1, 234 pounds, he displayed the instincts and speed necessary to help him bolster his draft stock.
