NFL Draft 2013: Could the Chiefs take Ryan Nassib?

Fast forward to 2013, and Reid could potentially hitch himself to another Syracuse quarterback. Russ Lande has predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs will spend the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft on Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib.
The prediction certainly leans on the bold side, as Nassib is rarely seen at the top of quarterback rankings. Some have speculated that Nassib's college coach Doug Marrone, who now coaches the Buffalo Bills, could talk Buddy Nix into taking Nassib with the No. 8 overall pick. That's as high as anyone has projected him to go, however.
Lande speculates that Nassib will be one of the hottest names at the Senior Bowl this week. He will have a chance to live up to the considerable hype with a week of practices leading up to the game on Saturday, Jan. 26.
