2013 NFL Draft running back rankings

Grant Halverson

Giovani Bernard has long been viewed as the top running back in the draft, but Alabama’s Eddie Lacy is closing on him. Few players finished the college football season better than Lacy. Over the last six games of the season, he ran for 726 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 7.6 yards per carry. He went from being a likely backup to a true feature back. Bernard, though, remains at the top because he has good enough size and solid top-end speed. The wild card, of course, is still Marcus Lattimore of South Carolina. His pro day is one of the most anticipated events of the offseason.
