It’s the point in the NFL Draft process where media analysts are beginning to wonder if Geno Smith of West Virginia really is the top quarterback in the class. Some are jumping on Tyler Wilson. Others are all over Mike Glennon or Ryan Nassib. Some trying to be edgy are jumping on Zac Dysert. Don’t listen to any of them. Smith is still the best quarterback in the class. Don’t forget about Matt Barkley, either. Sure, he was surrounded by talent at USC. But Barkley has underrated skills and a high football IQ.
