Former-LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu will undoubtedly be one of the more talked about draft prospects in the months before the 2013 NFL Draft. While he isn't participating in the Senior Bowl, "Honey Badger" is in Mobile trying to draw up interest among NFL teams and has already received interest from the New York Jets, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins, among others, Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post reports.

A finalist for the 2011 Heisman Trophy, Mathieu played just two seasons with the LSU Tigers before he was dismissed from the team by head coach Les Miles in August 2012 for a violation of team rules. Following a stint in a drug rehabilitation program and a subsequent arrest for marijuana possession in October, Mathieu announced in November that he would enter the 2013 NFL Draft.
In 2011, Mathieu recorded 71 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, two interceptions and two punts returned for touchdowns. He later earned the Chuck Bednarik Trophy recognizing the nation’s top defensive player.
