Following a strong week at the 2013 East-West Shrine Game that drew praises from many, UConn linebacker Sio Moore will have the opportunity to continue to impress at the 2013 Senior Bowl, where he was added to the roster as an injury replacement, according to Ed Daigneault of the Republican-American.

Moore accumulated 14 sacks in his final two seasons at UConn.

Moore, 6’1, 240 pounds, is the No. 10 outside linebacker in Dan Kadar’s outside linebacker rankings on SB Nation after he accumulated 72 tackles in his senior season. More impressive, though, were his skills as a playmaker, as Moore hauled in three interceptions as a junior and tallied 14 sacks in his final two seasons with the Huskies.
During the Shrine Game, Moore had an impressive display and drew the praises of NFL Network's Mike Mayock after tackling Texas A&M running back Christine Michael for a loss:
”I like the combination of heavy production at a BCS school, a great week of practice and following it up with a solid game,” Mayock said. “I think as this process goes on you are going to see this guy start to rise, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if at the end of April he doesn’t end up in the third round.”
Moore is currently projected by most as a fourth- or fifth-round draft pick and likely fits best as a weakside outside linebacker.
