One of the more athletic players in the 2013 NFL Draft is Michigan's Denard Robinson, a 5'11, 196-pound player with experience at a variety of positions. Most notably, Robinson burst on to the scene in 2010 as a dynamic quarterback with plenty of playmaking ability.

Robinson recorded 2,585 yards as a senior at Michigan, splitting time at quarterback, running back and wide receiver.

While Robinson is considered a wide receiver prospect for the draft, he told Andy Kent of Dolphins.com that he'll draw upon his experience at quarterback to help himself be a better receiver in the NFL:
"I want to do whatever it takes to be a help to the team and be somebody that you can depend on," Robinson said. "I think it's football and you just need to have fun doing it and make the most out of it. Randall Cobb, Antwaan Randle El and other guys (Hines Ward) had success switching positions and hopefully I can do the same thing. Being a quarterback helps at receiver because when you see a certain read or a certain zone you know how to get in and out of breaks."
The first step for Robinson to prove himself at the different position is to do well this week at the Senior Bowl practices in Mobile, Ala., and so far he’s earned mixed reviews. B.J Kissel of Arrowhead Pride wasn’t particularly impressed with the 2010 Big Ten Player of the Year:
His first few reps at wide receiver were not pretty. He seemed to struggle with the footwork and balance of coming out of breaks on basic routes. He did make some nice plays towards the end of practice but he’s definitely a project that’s going to have to show some quick improvement over the next few days.
In his senior season, Robinson recorded nine passing touchdowns, seven rushing touchdowns and 2,585 yards of total offense, splitting time between quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
