2014 NFL Draft running back rankings

Has a first-round talent emerged at running back?

For the second straight year, the first round of the NFL Draft may come and go without a single running back coming off the board.

A handful of underclassmen make the 2014 NFL Draft class a strong one at the top for the running back position, but it remains to be seen if any of these prospects will emerge as a first-round talent. Washington's Bishop Sankey and Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon have both impressed early in the season and shot way up the rankings to No. 2 and 3 respectively. Lache Seastrunk is still clinging to the top spot, though.

Truth be told, the best running backs in college football at the moment are all sophomores, and they aren’t all eligible for the upcoming draft.
