2014 NFL Draft safety rankings

It’s unlikely that anyone will catch Ha’sean Clinton-Dix in our safety rankings for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Marvin Gentry-US PRESSWIRE

Alabama safety Ha’sean Clinton-Dix is in a league of his own. No other draft-eligible safety in the country stacks up to Clinton-Dix on the field. The recent news of his suspension for a violation of team rules could be a cause for concern, but no safety is as talented as he is.

LSU's Craig Loston lays claim to the top spot in the next tier of safety prospects. The Tigers have played well to start the season, and Loston has been all over the field, closing on the football and showing off his physical nature in run support.

Other than Loston, Baylor Ahmad Dixon and Washington State's Deone Bucannon have made the biggest jumps up our board.

In all, we have 23 safeties ranked. Let us know if we missed anyone.
