It's not often that an interior offensive lineman is called the best prospect in an NFL Draft class, but that's what ESPN's Todd McShay claims. He thinks that Alabama guard Chance Warmack is the best player in the entire 2013 NFL Draft class.
NFL Draft 2013: Chance Warmack called ‘best player in draft’ by Todd McShay
It’s odd for interior offensive lineman to be rated so highly, but ESPN’s Todd McShay thinks Alabama guard Chance Warmack is the best player available in the 2013 NFL Draft.

“Chance Warmack, maybe the best player in this draft, forget the positions, just in terms of grades,” McShay said. “He graded out the highest of any player that I did in the preseason. He’s still right there with the highest grade, tied with some other guys right now.”
Warmack was a key cog in an Alabama offensive line that bulldozed opponents the past several years. The Alabama offense averaged over 227 rushing yards per game during the 2012 season, including 265 yards in their blowout win over Notre Dame in the BCS Championship Game.
However, regardless of how high he is on a team's big board, it's unlikely that an interior offensive lineman will be selected in the top 10. However, Warmack goes off the board at ninth overall to the New York Jets in SB Nation's latest mock draft, so it may not be as crazy as some people think.
